Brentford Women return to London and South East Premier action on Sunday 22 March as they take on Sutton United Women away from home.

The fixture will take place at VBS Community Stadium (2pm kick-off GMT).

Carly Williams' side currently sit second in the division, joint on 43 points with Saltdean United, although the latter have two games in hand.

With just four league games remaining, Brentford will be looking to finish the season in strong fashion.

Last time out

The Bees go into the game off the back of a spirited performance against the highest level of opposition the club has ever faced.

In a seven-goal thriller, the west Londoners fell to a narrow 4-3 defeat against Tier 3 side AFC Wimbledon Women in the Capital Cup semi-final.

Renai McCrea scored her eighth goal of the season and skipper Maddie Phillips netted from the spot, but it wasn't enough to progress to the final.

Last time out in the league, the Bees beat Ashford Town 2-0 on the road thanks to goals from Makeba Black and Ashley Cheatley.

About Sutton United

The two sides have already faced each other twice this season. Brentford prevailed with a 3-1 win in the league, but the U's got the better of the Bees in the Women's FA Cup, knocking them out on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Sutton currently sit fifth in the division, having amassed 30 points from 16 games. Most recently, they beat Sport London e Benfica 2-0 away from home.

Gabrielle Williams leads the line for the south London side, having scored 13 and assisted seven in 15 starts this campaign.

Brentford Women B host Holmesdale Keats in the Greater London Women's Football League Division One South at Bedfont Sports Club on Sunday 22 March (3pm kick-off).

Tommy Ryan-Maynard's side will claim the title on Sunday if they win and South London Reserves do not beat Kenningwell United.

The Bees can move within inches of becoming champions even if South London Reserves are victorious, as they could only match the west Londoners' tally if they win all their remaining fixtures, and the Bees do not earn a point from their final three games.

Last time out

Brentford Women B made it to the semi-final of the junior section of the Capital Cup last weekend with a 2-0 victory over Richmond Park Under-18s Girls.

Paula Holguin, who recently made her debut for the Peru national team, and Kirsty Matthews got on the scoresheet as they cruised into the final four.

Most recently in the league, they beat Regents Park Rangers 5-1, with Leah Robertson scoring a brace.

About Holmesdale Keats

Holmesdale Keats sit fourth in the division with 23 points from their 14 games played.

Last time out, they lost 3-1 to bottom of the table CB & Hounslow Abbots away from home.

Molly Turner is the Keats' top scorer, with seven goals from eight appearances.

In the reverse fixture, the Bees came out on top as 4-2 winners in September, with Matthews scoring all four goals.
