An athletic defender, Makeba Black made the move to west London ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Initially joining Brentford Women B, Black made her first team debut early on in the season and proceeded to play and start the final 22 games of the campaign across all competitions.

Black impressed across her first season with the Bees, helping the side keep eight clean sheets in her debut season.

She also scored a goal and assisted five, her form seeing her promoted to the first team in the summer of 2026.
