Brentford Women welcome Millwall to Bedfont Sports Club on Sunday as they return to London and South East Premier action (3pm kick-off GMT).

With the Bees' clash against Sutton United on 14 December postponed due to Sutton’s involvement in the FA Cup, this weekend's game gives the west Londoners a chance to end 2025 on a high before the Christmas break.

Following an eight-match winning streak in the league at the start of the season, it’s been mixed results for Carly Williams’ side across the past three outings, with a draw and two defeats.

Victories have continued in the League Cup, however, with the Bees set to host Newhaven in the quarter-finals on 1 February next year.

Last time out

Brentford secured their place in the next round of the League Cup last time out following a 3-0 win over Clapton Community away from home.

Habeebat Gbajabiamila and Alissa Down scored first-half goals to give the Bees some breathing room going into the break, Cloe O’Brien then scoring her first goal for the club in the second half to secure the victory.

Previously in the league, Brentford drew 2-2 at home with fellow title contenders Dorking Wanderers.

Chelsie Berry opened the scoring at Bedfont, before the visitors added back-to-back goals to take the lead.

Gbajabiamila levelled for the hosts in the second half as Williams’ side picked up a valuable point to leave them second in the table.

Millwall come into Sunday’s clash seventh in the league table, with five wins, three draws and four losses from their 12 outings.

It’s been a season of mixed results for the Lionesses across all competitions, however their 0-0 draw with table leaders Saltdean United in November highlighted their ability to compete with the best sides in the division.

Elsa Ejupi has led the way up front with 10 goals from 12 appearances, while Kayda Townsend has netted six times.
