With the ability to control the game in the midfield, Alissa Down has been a star signing since joining Brentford during the 2024/25 season.

Down crossed from Ashford Town (Middlesex), joining former Ashford teammates Ashley Cheatley and Lucy Potter at the Bees.

A powerful striker of the ball, Down wasted little time in having an impact for Brentford, scoring five goals in her first campaign with the club.

She played a pivotal part in the Bees’ journey to a league and Capital Cup double winning 2024/25 season which saw the side promoted to the London and South East Premier Division.

In tier 5, Down remained as the metronome in the middle of the park for the west Londoners, playing in every single game in the 2025/26 season.

Across the campaign she scored a handful of her trademark long range screamers, including a September goal of the month winning strike against Ashford town. In total, she recorded six goals and three assists.
