Alissa Down is an experienced and dynamic midfielder who joined Brentford Women’s First Team with a reputation for leadership and creativity on the pitch.
Down brings a wealth of experience to the team, having captained Ashford Town for five seasons and becoming the most capped player for Middlesex with an impressive 43 appearances. She combines technical skill with an eye for goals and assists, making her a formidable presence in midfield.
Alissa’s footballing journey began at Denham United Youth before progressing to Reading Academy. She later returned to Denham United Ladies and went on to represent Ashford Town, where she achieved significant success, including a treble-winning season and contributing 23 goals and 29 assists in the 2021/22 campaign. A specialist in set pieces and long-distance goals, she has consistently showcased her ability to influence games from midfield.
