Brentford captain Tony Craig was the receipient of a special presentation on behalf of the Club last night.
Yesterday, when The Bees hosted Sheffield Wednesday in a Sky Bet Championship match at Griffin Park, 125 years of Brentford Football Club was marked.
The game was designated to mark the 125th anniversary of Brentford Football Club as it was the nearest to the date of the official formation - October 10.
Former players were special guests on the evening, there was a commemorative programme and a poster given to all who attended.
Sheffield Wednesday also played their part before the match, which ended 0-0.
Prior to kick-off, visiting captain Glenn Loovens presented Bees skipper Tony Craig with a specially designed cut crystal decanter.
It had the inscription: 'Presented to Brentford FC on their 125th anniversary by the Board of Sheffield Wednesday FC'.
Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, said: "It was a special evening for the Club.
"We were treated to another very enjoyable evening of football, and one of the most entertaining scoreless draws you are likely to see.
"On behalf of everyone at Brentford Football Club, I would like to thank Sheffield Wednesday Football Club for recognising our 125th anniversary and for their very generous gift which we will proudly display within our Boardroom."
