Safeguarding at Brentford FC

“Brentford Football Club and Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust are committed to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all the individuals and communities that engage with us.

“We aim to ensure that there is, through every element of the work we do, a golden thread of safeguarding and good practice which prioritises the wellbeing of children, young people, and adults at risk. We deeply value the trust placed in us by parents, guardians, and caregivers when they entrust us with their loved ones.”

Jon Varney, Brentford FC Chief Executive

The club is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk of harm and requires all staff, volunteers and others associated with the Club to share and endorse this commitment.

As part of this commitment, all staff are expected to undertake regular safeguarding and welfare related training and to ensure the environments in which they work remain safe at all times. This includes ensuring best practices are adopted at all times, and incidents or concerns are proactively reported. Safeguarding is considered everybody’s responsibility.

Reporting a Concern

If you have a concern about the safety or welfare of a child or adult at risk involved with Brentford FC, you must take immediate action.
