Development Squad striker Luke Norris scored the winner for Northampton Town in his first ever FA Cup with Budweiser appearance yesterday.
Luke joined Northampton last month and took his goal tally to four in five games in a match against Bishop’s Stortford, televised live on ITV1.
Northampton went ahead in the second half and Luke made it 2-0 soon after with a low shot from the edge of the penalty area.
Bishop’s Stortford pulled one back but Northampton progressed.
Winger Stuart Dallas is also on loan at Northampton but Brentford did not give permission for him to play and therefore make himself unavailable for The Bees in later rounds.
Development Squad central defender Alfie Mawson played 90 minutes for Maidenhead United on Saturday.
The defender is with the Skrill South side on a Youth Loan until January 4.
He played his second game of his loan spell against Basingstoke Town on Saturday.
Basingstoke scored the only goal of the game just before half time to take the points.
Maidenhead are 15th in the table but many of the teams below them have games in hand.
Brentford have one more player out on loan – Development Squad midfield player Emmanuel Oyeleke, who is with Aldershot Town.
Emmanuel, better known to most as Manny, joined The Shots on a Youth Loan in August.
He has played 19 games for the Hampshire side but did not add to that total as Aldershot were not in action on Saturday.
