Brentford Football Club welcomed the players of FC Midtjylland to Griffin Park on Saturday.
Brentford FC Owner Matthew Benham bought the majority shareholding in Danish football club FC Midtjylland and the associated handball side FCM Handball last summer.
Staff from FCM, as they are known, have been to London to exchange ideas and a group from Brentford made the return trip last month.
With the Danish league on a winter break, the Midtjylland players have been in London and spent Saturday at Griffin Park.
They watched The Bees beat Rotherham United 1-0 in a Sky Bet Championship match and were presented to the Griffin Park crowd at half time.
FCM are eight points clear at the top of the Danish Superliga just past the midway point of the season, which will start again next month.
Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, said: “When we learned that the players from FC Midtjylland wanted to take in a Brentford game as part of their winter break trip to England, it made sense to take the opportunity to introduce them to the packed Griffin Park crowd.
“I am grateful for the very warm welcome afforded to them and we wish them well in their quest for the Danish Superliga title which would see them qualify for the qualifying rounds of the Champions League.”
