Moses Odubajo will be unable to help secure England third place at the Tournoi Espoirs de Toulon – better known as the Toulon Tournament – this afternoon.
The Brentford right back is in the England Under-20 squad for the tournament, taking place in the south of France.
He was involved in all four matches as England finished second in Group B.
They beat Ivory Coast and China but defeat to Mexico and a draw with Morocco, the only game that Moses did not start, left them second in the group.
They will play USA in the Third-Place Play-Off today, Sunday 7 June, before Morocco play France in the final.
But Moses has picked up two yellow cards in the competition and will be suspended.
Moses came through the youth ranks at Leyton Orient and turned professional in the summer of 2011.
He established himself in the Orient team in the 2012/13 season and played every League One match as the East London side challenged for promotion in 2013/14.
He helped The Os finish third in League One, missing out on automatic promotion to Brentford, and then joined The Bees last summer.
Moses played 49 games for Brentford in 2014/15, scoring three goals.
He has won six England Under-20 caps so far.
