On Tuesday, September 16, 12 pupils from Brentford School for Girld were given the opportunity to be flag bearers at the Brentford v Norwich City Sky Bet Championship game.
The pupils were selected based on their participation in football over the previous academic year.
Several of the pupils are already season ticket holders at Griffin Park and so were invited onto the pitch with their heroes at the start of the game.
Others had never been to a match before and so it was a completely new and exciting opportunity for all.
The staff at Brentford FC Community Sports Trust work at the school, assiting with the PE curriculum; with coaches teaching lessons, providing pupils with work experience opportunities and cementing community links.
