Head coach Keith Andrews provided an update on defenders Aaron Hickey and Michael Kayode ahead of Brentford’s Premier League game against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday (3pm kick-off GMT).
The Bees are looking to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion last time out, while Scott Parker’s side drew 1-1 with Chelsea.
Kayode was not included in the Bees’ matchday squad at Gtech Community Stadium last weekend, while Hickey was forced off before half-time.
“Michael is back in training; we’ll see how he is tomorrow,” Andrews revealed.
"I think he should be in and around it. He just picked up a little knock, and it wasn't quite right to have him involved last weekend.
“Aaron came off with an injury; I’m not sure if he is going to be ready.”
Josh Dasilva (knee ligament) remains sidelined, while Fábio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo will both miss the rest of the campaign due to ACL injuries.
On Dasilva, Andrews said: “Josh is back in the group. We don’t want to put too much pressure on that but we’re very excited to have him back in the group.
“He’s someone I hold in the highest regard. I love him as a person and loved him as a player from afar in his Championship days. We will just keep supporting him and trying to take steps in the right direction.”
