Brentford Women forward Ashley Cheatley was rewarded for her April form with the London and South East Premier Player of the Month award.

The Bees featured once in league action during April, Carly Williams’ side defeating Sport London E Benfica 10-0 away from home.

Cheatley came off the bench and wasted little time having an impact in the game, scoring a hat-trick within 18 minutes.

It was Cheatley’s third hat-trick of the 2025/26 season, the forward then scoring in the final game of the season against Millwall to take her total to a team-high 17 for the campaign.

Cheatley also finished the season with an equal team-high seven assists alongside Renai McCrea.

Speaking about her Player of the Month award, Cheatley said it was nice to be recognised.

"It's obviously a nice feeling for me to be recognised for my contributions to the team," she said.

"The hat-trick was a great feeling, I think the smile on my face after that third goal says it all.

"Overall it was not my best season from a personal point of view, but still a successful one and to finish as well as we did after being promoted, I think that is something to be proud of."

Cheatley joins Maddie Phillips (March), Paula Holguin (November 2025) and Regan Graver (August 2025) as Player of the Month winners from Brentford for this season.
