Brentford Women captain Maddie Phillips has been named the London and South East Premier Player of the Month for March.

The Bees’ no.2 started every game throughout the month, scoring three goals and picking up an assist across all competitions, as the west Londoners won three games, drew one and lost one.

“It’s always nice," she said. "Playing for the club that I support is amazing, and then getting some accolades alongside it is incredible.

“Scoring goals will always be a special moment, so winning Player of the Month as well... it's nice to be recognised, and hopefully there’s another one!”

Phillips followed the announcement with one of her best performances of the season, scoring a hat-trick and picking up an assist after coming on in the second half during Brentford’s 10-0 league win over Sport London E Benfica.

She now has nine goals and five assists to her name for the season, which is her goal tally third-best for the Bees despite missing a portion of the season due to injury.

Phillips joins Paula Holguin and Regan Graver as Brentford recipients of the award, who won it in November and August 2025, respectively.
