Versatile forward Abbi Smith became Carly Williams' first summer signing of 2026 when she joined Brentford ahead of the 2026//27 campaign.

An Arsenal Academy graduate, Smith brought experience from the higher tiers of the football pyramid with her to west London.

She previously played for Ipswich Town and joined the Bees from tier four side Billericay Town, where she featured 26 times for the club in the National League Southern Premier Division.
