Youth Team defender Makhosini Khanye missed out on an award, for his work at the other end of the pitch.
The 17-year-old – who normally plays at left back for The Bees in the Under-18 Professional Development League – was nominated for the League Football Education Goal of the Month award for February.
Clubs put forward their best goals scored by Youth Team players at Football League clubs every month, whether in the Professional Development League or Football League Youth Alliance, and Makhosini’s goal in the 4-2 win over Nottingham Forest on February 28 was named in the top eight.
The goal was Brentford’s fourth in the win and came at the end of a 32-pass move.

The vote closed last week and Makhosini's goal finished sixth in the poll.
The award was won by Matthew Bowles, of Lincoln City.
