While Brentford’s First Team are away at Stevenage for an npower League One game tomorrow evening, the Development Squad will also be in action.
The Bees will look to build on a five match unbeaten league run in Hertfordshire and close the gap on some of the teams above them at the top of the table.
But that will be the second match of the day as the Development Squad welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Griffin Park.
Brentford are now running a Category Two Football Academy under the new Elite Player Performance Plan and the Club’s Under-18 and Under-21 sides have been entered in to a regional league with the other teams at the same level in the south of the country.
Brentford’s opponents at both Under-18 and Under-21 level include Queens Park Rangers, Bristol City, Charlton Athletic, Swansea City and Cardiff City.
Brentford’s Development Squad are in the race for honours at the top of the Under-21 Development League Two South table.
A win over Bristol City last time out was their fifth in their last seven and The Bees are fifth in the table but have games in hand on all the teams above them.
Brighton are third in the table but are only two points ahead of The Bees, having played two games more.
Charlton are top of the table, eight points ahead of The Bees, but they have also played two games more.
The Development Squad match will kick off at 3pm in TW8.
Supporters can watch the game, admission is FREE and the paddock in The Bees United Stand, on the Braemar Road side of the ground, is the only area open.
