Harry Forrester was picked out for special recognition after Brentford’s 1-0 win over Scunthorpe United on Saturday.
The Bees made it three wins from four with the win, secured when substitute Tom Adeyemi slotted home with his first touch.
The victory took The Bees up to fourth in npower League One, with games in hand, on those above them.
They are also now unbeaten in five league games and have lost just two of their last 21.
Harry was named in the League One Team of the Week for Saturday, announced yesterday evening.
He was selected in midfield along with Ed Upson, who scored the only goal as Yeovil Town beat Tranmere Rovers, David Syers, who helped Doncaster Rovers beat Hartlepool United, and Jamie Paterson, who was in the Walsall team that beat Shrewsbury Town.
Doncaster had two players in the team while the other six selected were drawn from Crawley Town, Colchester United, Leyton Orient, Notts County, Portsmouth and Sheffield United.

It is the second time Harry has been selected in the npower League One Team of the Week – he was also chosen after scoring one and setting up another as The Bees beat Milton Keynes Dons in December.
Eight Brentford players have been given the accolade this term.
Clayton Donaldson has been selected four times - firstly after scoring a brace in the win over Crewe Alexandra in August, also after netting two in the 2-1 victory over Crawley and then after scoring two more in a 3-2 win over MK Dons in December.
His last selection was for scoring two in a 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic in January.
Farid El Alagui, Shaleum Logan and Simon Moore have each been named twice.
Farid after the wins over against Colchester in September and Crewe in August, Shaleum for his performance in the 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe in October and the January win at Oldham and Simon was selected for his roles in the home and away wins over Oldham.
Three other Brentford players have received Team of the Week accolades once – Paul Hayes was named after scoring two in a draw against Hartlepool, Adam Forshaw was given special recognition for his performance in the win against Notts County and Jonathan Douglas was selected after last week’s 0-0 draw with Walsall.
