Ticket sales for Brentford’s home pre-season friendly with Celtic on Saturday July 20 have now topped the six thousand mark.
This is a thousand short of the Club record of 7,037 for a game against West Ham United at Griffin Park on July 27, 1968.
Sales are expected to top this figure by next week.
Brentford fans can purchase tickets for Bees United Stand paddock plus Blocks B, and D and the BIAS [Ealing Road] terrace.
There is now limited availability for Celtic fans in the Bill Axbey [New Road] Stand, which is all-seater.
Tickets are also on sale for Brentford’s pre-season friendlies against Millwall [July 16] and Cardiff City [July 30].
Brentford fans can purchase their tickets online, via the telephone or in person for all three home games.
