A pitch inspection will be held at 10am this morning to see if Brentford’s Sky Bet League One match against Crawley Town can go ahead today, Saturday February 8.
Heavy rain has fallen in West London recently, with more falling overnight, and the Griffin Park pitch is sodden.
As of 9am on Saturday February 8 there are puddles on the pitch but it is currently dry in TW8.
However, the water table is very high and water is not draining as well as previous days.
Match referee Stephen Martin is expected to arrive at Griffin Park at 10am to inspect the pitch.
