Brentford's Football Conference Youth Alliance team, the Brentford Griffins, picked up a ninth straight win as they demolished Watford Hertswood 7-1 last week.
The win moved Dan Wright's side up to second in the London/South East Division of the Football Conference Youth Alliance with two games to play.
They sit three points behind Chesham United but with a game in hand and with a better goal difference.
The latest win came courtesy of goals from Bilal Aalouche, Noah Amissah, Abdul Oues and Ahren Vassell, an own-goal and a double for Christie Pattisson.
That now means The Griffins have won all nine matches played in 2015 scoring 35 goals and conceding just seven.
Chesham United have one game to play at home to Woking Whites while The Griffins are away at Boreham Wood Whites later this afternoon and then finish their season at home to Watford CSE next Wednesday.
The league title would cap off a remarkable debut season for the Brentford Griffins who have conceded the fewest goals in the division and have the third best attack.
