Brentford’s Moses Odubajo gained his fourth England Under-20 cap on Saturday as the Young Lions beat the Ivory Coast 2-1 in their second group match of the Toulon Tournament.
Former Brentford loanee Chuba Akpom scored England's first goal [and his second of the tournament] in the tenth minute, with Callum Robinson doubling the lead two minutes before the break. Ivory Coast scored a late consolation.
Moses started the game at right back, and completed the 90 minutes.
Aidy Boothroyd’s team play Mexico on Wednesday 3 June. They will complete their group fixtures with a match against China on Friday 5 June.
The Young Lions will compete in Group B of the competition, now entering its 43rd edition, in the south of France. The Final will take place on Sunday 7 June with all of England’s matches screened live by BT Sport.
