Brentford Football Club have made changes to the facilities for away supporters at Griffin Park for the final match of the Sky Bet League One season against Stevenage in order to get more Bees fans in the ground.
The Bees welcome Stevenage to Griffin Park on Saturday, May 3, for an ALL TICKET match that will kick off at 3pm.
It is set to be a day of celebration at Griffin Park.
Brentford have clinched promotion to The Sky Bet Championship and will end their season, and play their last game in League One, at Griffin Park this weekend.
All tickets in home areas sold out last week.
After discussions with Stevenage FC, Brentford has been able to make the upper tier of the Brook Road stand, normally for away supporters, available for community groups.
Those who have bought in groups via Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust will now be seated in the upper tier of the Brook Road stand.
The terrace below will be the only area available for Stevenage fans.
This means a few hundred tickets can be made available in The Bill Axbey Stand, on the New Road side of the ground, for sale.
There are also tickets available in Block A of The Bees United Stand.
They will be available on the Brentford FC ticketing website here and to those who come to the Brentford FC Ticket Office in person from 10am tomorrow, Tuesday April 29.
Tickets will not be available for telephone sales.
There are no more tickets available for The BIAS Stand terrace, at the Ealing Road end of the ground.
Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, said: “The demand for tickets for the match has been phenomenal.
“We wanted to try and get as many Brentford fans as possible for the celebrations.
“We looked at other alternatives, segregating the ground in different ways, but due to the need to provide segregated facilities for visiting fans it was not possible.
“We approached Stevenage with this suggestion and are very grateful that they were happy to give up a section of seating.
“The anticipated numbers of travelling support can be easily accommodated in the terrace.
“We have also agreed to compensate Stevenage fans affected by the change.
“I hope the remaining seats can now be sold and even more Brentford fans can come to be part of a memorable day at Griffin Park.”
