Brentford boss Mark Warburton looked ahead to the derby with Fulham, signifying that the Club's players and staff are well aware of its importance to both sets of fans.
“It’s a very important game and huge support we’re taking, which is fantastic,” said mark.
“It’s a fantastic level of backing by the supporters, the players are well aware of the importance of the fixture.
“You saw by the reaction of the first game of what it means and our preparation is geared towards a good performance and getting the right result on Friday.
“Many times people say a derby match negates facts about form, and the fact is that this is a huge London derby for us, but we enter a run of five games in 15 days, so we’ve got to utilise the squad, and focus on each and every game.
“There’s 15 points up for grabs in that period and we have to recognise that this is the next game, the next chance to earn three points, and move to 69.
“There’s no need to excite the players as they are well aware of the importance of it.”
The international break saw an unprecedented level of players report for duty across the globe.
The squad reported to the Osterley training base all fit.
“The boys have trained well, plus the ones that have returned from international duty,” said Mark.
“Stuart Dallas was keen to train after a couple of days off; Alex Pritchard and Chris Long are back here as well, they all trained well and are looking forward to the Fulham game.”
