The 22-year-old has rejoined The Foxes today as they battle to retain their Premier League status.
He will link up with Nigel Pearson’s squad, who are preparing for their match at home to West Ham United on Saturday.
Liam made three appearances for Brentford since he joined on loan from Leicester on February 26.
He had spent the previous week with the England Under-21 squad, and made two appearances in their recent friendly wins against the Czech Republic and Germany, alongside fellow loanee Alex Pritchard.
It was Liam’s second spell on loan at Brentford, having made ten appearances in League One under Uwe Rösler in the 2012/13 season, before being recalled in April 2013.
On Liam’s departure, Brentford Manager Mark Warburton said: “We are naturally disappointed to see Liam recalled.
“He has been a model professional during his stay at Griffin Park.
“We fully understand though, as he has a part to play in Leicester’s fight for Premier League survival, and of course to prepare for a key role in England’s Under-21 European Championship campaign this summer.
“I wish Liam well for this season and in his future career.”
