Emmanuel Oyeleke scored as Aldershot Town secured their spot in the Skrill Premier next season despite losing on Saturday.
The Development Squad midfield player, better known as Manny, has been on loan at Aldershot for most of the season, spending two spells with the Hampshire side.
The Shots went in to their final Skrill Premier game against Hereford United on Saturday, April 26, needing to avoid a heavy defeat to ensure they avoided relegation.
Manny played his 40th game of the season and scored his fifth goal for Aldershot to equalise after Hereford had gone in front in the first half.
Hereford scored again late on to win the game – saving themselves from relegation in the process – but Aldershot stayed up despite the loss.
Manny was one of four Brentford players in action for loan clubs this weekend.
Development Squad defender Aaron Pierre is involved in a relegation battle that looks likely to have a less positive outcome.
Aaron is on loan at Sky Bet League Two Wycombe Wanderers.
He made his seventh appearance for the Buckinghamshire side in their relegation clash against Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
Wycombe lost 2-1 and fell in to the relegation zone, below their opponents and Northampton Town.
Wycombe travel to already relegated Torquay United next Saturday, May 3, needing a win to have any chance of overtaking Bristol Rovers and Northampton, who are both three points ahead and have home games as their final fixtures.
Shaleum Logan was in action for Aberdeen on Saturday.
The right back made his 15th appearance for the Scottish Premiership club in their game against St Johnstone.
The game ended 1-1, a point which leaves Aberdeen second in the table.
The final Brentford player in action for a loan club on Saturday was Development Squad striker Luke Norris.
He played for Dagenham and Redbridge as they lost 3-0 to Northampton.
All three goals came in the first half and Luke played all but the last few seconds, his 18th appearance for The Daggers.
Brentford have five more players out on loan.
Striker Farid El Alagui was an unused substitute as Dundee United beat Motherwell 5-1 on Saturday while injury prevented Development Squad defender Alfie Mawson playing for Welling United as they beat Southport 4-3.
Three of Brentford’s Youth Team players are on work experience but none played yesterday.
Goalkeeper Joe Taylor was not involved as Ryman League Division One South Eastbourne Town were beaten 3-0 by Whitstable Town.
And neither Lewis Lavender nor George Pilbeam played as Calor League Premier Division Burnham lost 3-0 to Truro City.
