Mark Smith helped Hampton and Richmond into Third Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy after a 3-1 home win against Sudbury Town. Jamal Lowe put The Beavers ahead but that lead lasted just 10 minutes before Smith was left stranded as a deflected shot looped high over the Brentford youngster and into the back of the net. However Hampton secured their passage through thanks to second-half goals from Tom Jelley and Charlie Moone as they extended their run to just one defeat in ten matches.
Josh Clarke played 90 minutes as Barnet suffered defeat away at Luton Town on Saturday in Sky Bet League Two. The right-back impressed for Martin Allen's side but couldn't prevent The Bees falling to defeat as Danny Green and Cameron McGeehan netted for The Hatters. The 21-year-old has scored three goals in his five appearances at The Hive since joining on loan last month.
