Only one of Brentford’s on loan players was involved in match action this week as the English season draws to a close.
Development Squad attacker Montell Moore played half an hour as a substitute for FC Midtjylland’s Under-19 side yesterday, Thursday April 30.
He came on with FCM, as they are known, leading Silkeborg IF 5-0 and helped them to a 7-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.
Montell has been on loan at the Danish side for the second half of the season playing for the Reserve and Under-19 teams.
Six more Brentford players are out on loan and will be hoping for a positive end to their season.
Richard Lee is at Fulham, who face Norwich City away from home on the final day, and he is the only one with nothing to play for.
Will Grigg has been at Milton Keynes Dons for the season and they face Yeovil Town on Sunday, May 3, looking to overtake Preston North End and seal automatic promotion from Sky Bet League One
At the other end of the table, Nick Proschwitz is at relegation-threated Coventry City.
Coventry are 18th in the table but are only two points outside the relegation zone.
They face Crawley Town away from home on Sunday and a draw will be enough to keep them up.
But if they lose, wins for Notts County – at Gillingham – and a draw for Crewe Alexandra – at home to Bradford City – would relegate them.
While Nick is trying to keep Coventry in League One, three more Bees are trying to get to that level.
Development Squad defender Alfie Mawson has been with Sky Bet League Two Wycombe Wanderers all season while Sam Saunders and Nico Yennaris have ended the campaign in Buckinghamshire.
Wycombe end their season with a trip to Northampton Town.
A win coupled with a defeat for Southend United, at Morecambe, and Bury failing to beat Tranmere Rovers would give Wycombe automatic promotion.
