Lee Doyle, Chief Executive of Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust, made a presentation at a special seminar.
Lee was invited to speak at Birkbeck College as part of their Sports Business Centre Seminar Series.
He spoke about charitable trust in English professional football - how they emerged, what they currently achieve and what their future looks like.
He was joined by Neil Taylor, Chief Executive of Leyton Orient Trust, who celebrate their 25th birthday this year, two years after Brentford.
Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust is a charitable trust supported by the Club which provides sport, education and career opportunities in the area.
The Trust celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2012 and its work, along with that of the Club, was marked when Brentford won the Johnstone’s Paint Community Club of the Year prize at the 2014 Football League Awards.
