Brentford striker Will Grigg made a substitute appearance for Northern Ireland in their World Cup qualifying defeat on Friday.
Northern Ireland played their penultimate game in European Qualifying Group F in Azerbaijan.
They were beaten 2-0 as the hosts scored two second half goals.
Will was brought on inside the final ten minutes with Northern Ireland 1-0 down; they conceded a late second and had central defender Jonny Evans sent off.
It was Will’s fifth cap for his country and his third since arriving at Griffin Park.
Northern Ireland are now fifth in their group with one match to go – away to Israel on Tuesday, October 15.
They have won one and drawn three of their nine games.
They could finish fourth in the group with a win in Israel but may finish bottom if they lose.
Defender Raphaël Calvet is also away on international duty at the moment.
He is in the France Under-20 squad for two friendly games against Denmark.
France beat Denmark 3-2 in the first match on Friday night but Raphaël was not involved.
The second takes place at 7.30pm this evening, Sunday October 13.
