Brentford’s Sky Bet Championship game against Hull City has been postponed. The original date – Tuesday 8 March – is no longer available for the match due to Hull’s Emirates FA Cup commitments. Hull will be playing Arsenal in a Fifth Round Replay on that night, meaning Brentford’s game at the KC Stadium must be pushed back.
The game had to be moved due to difficulties for Arsenal and Hull in finding a date for their cup contest. Both teams currently have games scheduled the usual replay week – Arsenal play Swansea City on Wednesday 2 March and Hull travel to Birmingham City on Thursday 3 March – and were told the game must be played on Tuesday 8 March at 7pm. Hull were then given permission to shift Brentford’s game on Humberside. A new date for this match will be announced once Hull’s FA Cup fate is known.
Brentford FC would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to fans by the change, which was completely out of the Club’s hands. Tickets for the match are on sale now and any already purchased will be valid for the rearranged contest. Any fans wanting refunds should contact the Brentford FC Ticket Office.
