The sweltering heat was to be the order of the day again as we awoke on Thursday morning.
Breakfast was followed a while later by the squad`s final full training session with everyone involved apart from Antonio German who is recovering from injury and was under the supervision of Physio Daryl Martin.
The training lasted over two hours which was sufficient in the heat.
Lunch was then followed by an afternoon of individualized training with sessions geared to the players` specific needs engineered by both the coaching and medical staff.
Later in the afternoon everyone was aware that the Under 15s were playing in the Milk Cup Final against Everton and were following the updates through various sources.
On hearing that the youngsters had achieved such a magnificent result against the team who have dominated the tournament for the past few years, messages of congratulations were winging their way to those involved.
It was then time for dinner and the much awaited continuation of the karaoke ordeal for those who were on their first trip with the Club.
First up was Antonio German with a number by Usher (so I`m told). Then it was Manny Oyeleke`s turn to stand on the chair and he came up with a number by Drake (again, so I was told).
Leon Redwood was third up and at last an offering I recognized (well the words at least and the notes albeit in a random order!).
It was Bob Marley`s "Three Little Birds".
Alfie Mawson was next up and he gave us his version of Ed Sheeran`s "Lego House" together with the instrumental inserts.
There were still three more people yet to step up to the plate.
Media Assistant Mark Chapman took his bow inexplicably donning black sunglasses to give us his rendition of The Monkees "I`m a Believer".
Then it was German triallist Juhvel Tsoumou and he gave us a song in his native tongue (at least I think so as he could have been making it up as he went along).
Finally another triallist Andy Taylor was on the chair and he gave us a high pitched version of the 1964 hit "You`ve Lost That Lovin` Feeling".
It`s fair to say on the conclusion of the seven karaoke offerings, we had all lost some sense of feeling; other than that of sympathy for the original songwriters.
On conclusion of this final heat of "Brentford's Got Talent" some of us went to the arena in the complex to watch a handball match between HSV Bad Blankenburg and highly rated SC DHFK Leipzig which resulted in a resounding 26-40 victory for the visitors.
So that was the end of our final full day in this excellent sporting complex located in the midst of some stunning German countryside before we head back to Leipzig for our final game and ultimately the journey home on Saturday.
