Fábio Carvalho will be out until after the November international break, Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has confirmed.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has scored on both of his competitive first-team appearances this season - against Chelsea in the Premier League and Reading in the Carabao Cup - but has been absent from the last two matchday squads.
Aside from that injury setback for Carvalho, the Bees have no new injury concerns ahead of Saturday's game against Nottingham Forest at Gtech Community Stadium (3pm kick-off GMT).
“Fábio picked up a knock about 10 days to two weeks ago, so he’s going to be out up until after the international break,” Andrews revealed.
“Everybody came through it [the Sunderland game on Wednesday night] absolutely fine. A couple of them were playing for the first time in a while.”
Earlier in the week, it was confirmed that Rico Henry (hip and quad) will also be out until after the international break.

Brentford go into this weekend's game having lost just once in the league all season, a defeat which came a fortnight ago at home to Liverpool.
Forest, meanwhile, currently occupy a place in the relegation zone, a position Andrews believes does not reflect their performances given how Oliver Glasner's side have been playing.
“I’m expecting the toughest game we’ve had in the last seven to eight days,” the west Londoners' head coach continued.
“They’ve played very well in games and have some magnificent players who can hurt you if given the opportunity.
“If you look at the table, you would get a false sense of where they’re at with their performances. If they continue performing the way they are, they will be in a very different position.”
