Brentford Football Club has published its Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) report for 2025/26.
The report highlights the club's progress against its EDI strategy across four key pillars: data and insight, learning and development, policies and processes, and culture.
The report details the work undertaken throughout the 2025/26 season to help make Brentford a more inclusive, welcoming and representative place for staff, players, supporters and the wider community.
Over the past year, the club has continued to strengthen its approach to inclusion through data-led decision-making, targeted learning programmes, enhanced policies and processes, and campaigns designed to promote belonging both on and off the pitch.
Key initiatives included active bystander training for supporters, the expansion of opportunities for women and girls, the launch of the Stronger Together anti-racism educational toolkit and continued work to support LGBTQ+ inclusion, mental health awareness and disability inclusion.
The season also saw Brentford become the first Premier League club to adopt a staff policy based on the principles of Hugh's Law, while the club's commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion was recognised nationally through the Professional Game Award at the Football v Homophobia Awards.
Brentford chief executive Jon Varney said: “This season has seen us make further progress through data-led decision-making, targeted learning, strengthened policies and processes, and campaigns that bring inclusion to life for our staff, players, supporters and community.
“We know this work can never stop, and together we will keep pushing forward - because a more inclusive Brentford is a stronger Brentford.”
