Mr Boyeson is one of the more experienced officials on the Football League list, having taken charge of his first game in 2002.
He has refereed 12 Bees games so far – then first a 2-0 win against Chesterfield in April 2003 and the last two consecutive visits to Gigg Lane to play Bury in 2011 and 2012, both of which ended in draws.
He was responsible for one of the shortest ever Brentford careers, sending off Peter Beadle after 12 minutes of a 4-1 defeat against Tranmere Rovers on a sweltering August day in 2003.
And he also sent off Ronnie Bull on his second Brentford appearance, in a 0-0 draw with Peterborough United in January 2004.
