Brentford FC, Brentford's Community Sports Trust and Hounslow Stop Smoking Service have joined forces to encourage the Borough's smokers to take part in Stoptober.
Stoptober is a 28 day smoking challenge which supports the nation's eight million smokers to stop smoking.
The support from the Stoptober team ranges from a dedicated app, email, texts and social media.
Research shows that smokers are five times more likely to quit for good if they successfully stop smoking for four weeks.
Last year more than 1,000 Hounslow residents took part in Stoptober and this year the NHS Smoking Team for Hounslow are on hand to help even more smokers go smoke free for 28 days.
