Brentford Football Club received payment from the Brentford Independent Association of Supporters (BIAS) on Saturday to confirm the second year of a deal to sponsor the Ealing Road terrace.
The Club announced last year it had signed a two-year agreement for the Ealing Road end of the ground to be known as The BIAS Stand.
The stand will be sponsored by BIAS for the 2012/13 campaign and the name of BIAS appears on signs around Griffin Park and on the structure of the stand itself.
Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, said: “The Club is extremely grateful for the continued support of BIAS.
“This sponsorship arrangement typifies the good working relationship that exists.
“The Club is proud to have the Ealing Road Stand associated with BIAS and the deal was good for both parties.
“I was very pleased to receive the second payment on behalf of the Club and hope to continue the fine relationship with BIAS through this season and beyond.”
Richard Merritt, BIAS Chairman, said: “Sponsoring the BIAS stand gives the association great exposure and allows us as a supporters’ group to contribute to Brentford FC’s success
“BIAS paid for all of the signage directly and, being a community group, Octink gave us a really great deal, which was truly exceptionally good value for money.
“This has meant that all of the sponsorship money paid over the two years has gone directly to Brentford FC.
“Membership of BIAS is only £1 a month for adults, the more people who get involved in BIAS and the more people who support BIAS with their membership, the more we can do.”
