After reaching the Play-Off Semi-Finals last season Brentford, under new Head Coach Marinus Dijkhuizen, begin their quest to go one better this campaign with Ipswich Town the visitors to Griffin Park on Saturday 8 August, kick-off 3pm.
The Tractor Boys, who also made the end of season Play-Offs only to lose to Norwich City, won 4-2 at Griffin Park on Boxing Day last season and The Bees will be looking to get a measure of revenge as well as getting the season off to a winning start when Mick McCarthy's side come to West London.
The visit of Ipswich Town kicks off the 46 game season with the promised land of the Premier League the aim for clubs up and down the country.
Preparations for the new season are well under-way with just over a month until the big kick-off.
The Bees are currently at their Training Camp in Portugal building up to their first pre-season friendly, against Sporting Clube Farense, on Tuesday 14 July.
Marinus' side will then return home to play friendlies against Boreham Wood, Stoke City, Luton Town, and Norwich City ahead of the new season.
