Emmanuel Oyeleke's strike wasn't enough to give Brentford's Development Squad all three points at home to Millwall as Jamie Philpot struck in the second-half to ensure a share of the spoils.
Brentford took the lead just before the half-hour mark as Aaron Greene's cross was only half cleared and Oyeleke was on hand to coolly slide home from 12 yards.
That goal looked like being enough to secure the three points until Philpot raced clear with 20 minutes to go and slotted home past Richard Lee.
Lee Carsley made just the one change change from last week's 1-0 Under-21 Professional Development League Two South win over Ipswich Town as the first again Aaron Greene replaced Gradi Milenge in defence.
Millwall included three of their Under-18 side who lost 3-1 to Brentford on Saturday in the starting XI with first-teamers Nicky Bailey and Justin Hoyte also featuring from the start.
Conditions had been difficult during last week's 1-0 over Ipswich Town and, if anything, they were even worse this time around.
The recent dry weather had made the pitch hard and bobbly and with a gale force wind blowing down the length of the pitch conditions were far from ideal for The Bees passing style.

Next to be denied by Lee was Alfie Kitt as three minutes later Brentford took the lead.
Oyeleke had already seen one shot well blocked by Girling but there was nothing the goalkeeper could do as Greene's fine cross wasn't dealt with and Oyeleke passed the ball into the bottom corner from 12 yards.
Girling made sure Oyeleke didn't get a second soon after with a smart save before a moment of real controversy surrounding Lee in the Brentford goal.
Well outside his area Lee appeared to block Philpot's shot with his chest but the linesman flagged for a handball that nobody else at Jersey Road saw.
Going on his assistants advice the referee awarded Millwall a free-kick but only showed Lee a yellow card rather than the red which the Millwall players, rightly once the free-kick had been awarded, wanted as punishment.
To further add to The Lions sense of injustice Farrell blazed the free-kick well over the bar.
Playing with the wind in the second-half Brentford began the half by penning their opponents into their own half.
John-Prince Rylah headed over from eight yards early on in the half but other than that it was Brentford creating the chances.
Oyeleke shot straight down the throat of Girling, Udumaga fired a free-kick well over the bar and Josh Laurent pulled a shot past the near post.
Girling then did fantastically well to turn an Udumaga shot over the bar after the effort took a vicious kick up off the turf.
Less than 60 seconds after that save The Lions were level as the resulting corner was lashed clear and Louis Hutton's attempted control dropped to Philpot who ran through unchallenged and kept his cool to roll the ball between Lee's legs and into the back of the net.
Alex Mulrooney-Skinner saw a volley blocked by Daniel O'Shaughnessy and then the same man headed over the resulting corner.
Hutton whipped a shot over the bar from a corner and Greene pulled a shot wide from the edge of the box before Oyeleke passed up a glorious late chance to win things.
Greene was so nearly the provider again as his deep cross hung up invitingly against the breeze but Oyeleke could only put his header wide of the far post from six yards.
As it was the points were shared ahead of next Tuesday's return fixture at The New Den.
