In the FA Cup First Round proper draw made today (Sunday) at Wembley Stadium, Brentford have been given an away tie to non league opposition.
The Bees will play Hertfordshire side Boreham Wood, who beat Hayes and Yeading United 3-2 in their Fourth Qualifying Round match on Sunday at Woking's Kingfield Stadium.
Boreham Wood are placed second in the Blue Square South.
First Round ties are to be played on November 3/4 but date and kick-off time are yet to be confirmed.
It will be Brentford's first competitive meeting with Boreham Wood.
