Brentford Football Club has appointed Tim Chadwick to the position of Finance Director.
Tim had previously held the role of Interim Finance Director at Barnsley and he will step in to the position leading the Club’s financial management.
That position will be vacated by Bob Lampert when he leaves the Club in June.
Bob has been at Brentford full-time – as Accountant and latterly as Chief Financial Officer – since 1995 and worked for eight years on a self-employed basis before that.
Tim, a 46-year-old former professional cricketer, also has experience of working in the television industry – with programme provider Flextech and then ITV Digital – before working as Financial Controller at sports talent management company SFX Sports Group.
He was Chief Financial Officer at Wasserman Media Group, a sports marketing and management firm, for more than seven years before taking up the role at Barnsley.

“His experience of football finance is first class and helps to make him an ideal addition to our talented management team.
“Bob Lampert has served Brentford unwaveringly for a very long time and through several demanding financial periods.
“It has been a pleasure to work with Bob, and we all wish him well when he leaves the Club later this year.”
Tim will work alongside Bob until the end of the season and will be part of the Club’s Executive Team but will not hold a place on the Board.
