Brentford's IMG Cup campaign came to an end with a 2-2 draw in the 5th place final against the US Men's National Team U17s on Sunday evening.

Jon De Souza's side qualified for the 5th place final at the prestigious IMG Boys Invitational Cup after picking up four points from their three group games.

A 3-0 defeat to Stevenage on the opening day was followed up by a 1-0 win over Black Rock, who went on to win the overall tournament after defeating Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.

That set up a winner-takes-all match against IMG Academy on Saturday and, despite dominating the game from start to finish, The Bees could only manage a 1-1 draw.

Sunday's final started off badly for Jon De Souza's side and they found themselves 2-0 down to the USA U17s.

Bradley Clayton halved the arrears with a finish from inside the box and the comeback was complete when Courtney Senior headed home late on.

There was still a chance for The Bees to win it but Kingsley Eshun headed against the post with the last kick of the game as both teams took a share of 5th place
