LOSC Lille eSports were formed in 2017 as the gaming arm of the three times Ligue 1 winners. Last season, Lille finished second in the French top flight, qualifying for this season's Champions League which they exited in the Group stages.
Belgian professional gamer Stefano Pinna joined Lille eSports in the summer from PSV eSports. Rated third in the World on FIFA 19, Pinna was the beaten finalist in the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup and went out to the eventual Champion in the Last 16 of last season's edition. On FIFA 19 Stefano also reached the semi-final of the FUT Champions Cup in Bucharest before winning the London event in the Gfinity FIFA Series.
Despite finding life more difficult on the current edition of the game, failing to make the knockout rounds of two FUT 20 Champions Cup stages this term, Pinna has worked his way through to the last 16 of the Ultimate QuaranTeam tournament with wins over Oxford United, FC Lorient, and Red Bull Salzburg.

QUARANTEAM FOR A GOOD CAUSE
As well as keeping football fans entertained, the Cup is also raising vital funding for EFL clubs who are going to have massive financial struggles (as of course will many industries across the world) during this time of fixture postponement. With no match day income for the foreseeable future football clubs are struggling and things will only get worse.
75% of money raised will be given to the EFL within 28 days with the remaining 25% split between the EFL’s chosen charity ‘MIND’, and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fundraiser by WHO.
