The young Bees, who haven’t played a match since their 2-0 win over a Rangers XI on 10 March, will travel to The Powerday Stadium looking to develop their fitness levels after a sustained period away from match action.
The match will be the first opportunity for Hanwell to welcome back some supporters in a safe environment to watch the match as football continues its comeback following the significant impact of COVID-19 this year.
Hanwell have announced that they can allow for 200 spectators with tickets priced at £5 for Adults and Seniors and £1 for Under-18s. Brentford FC recognises that with the allowance of 200 supporters into the venue, the situation may well arise where fans are unable to gain entry. The club fully intends, assuming facilities at the Powerday Stadium allow, to stream the fixture on our official YouTube channel as well as provide full social media coverage so those who are unable to make it to the ground can watch from home.
The fixture could well see first Brentford B appearances for new signings Mads Bidstrup, Ben Hockenhull, Wraynel Hercules and Fin Stevens having joined the club in recent weeks.
Hanwell are currently in preparation for their new campaign in the Isthmian League South Central Division. Last season they finished second in the league table having picked up 58 points from their 28 games before their season was curtailed early and abandoned due to the lockdown.
