Igor Thiago has been named Premier League Player of the Month for November.
The striker becomes the first Brentford player to win the award, having scored five goals in four of the Bees' November fixtures.
He netted a brace in the 3-1 win over Newcastle United at Gtech Community Stadium on 9 November, with the first from the penalty spot and the second after he latched onto a loose ball in the final third, before coolly slotting past Aaron Ramsdale.
The Brazilian scored another penalty in the defeat at Brighton, and then struck twice more in the 3-1 home victory against Burnley, taking his tally to 11 Premier League goals this term.
After winning the award, Thiago said: "It means so much to me. I'm really happy to receive this because it means my hard work on the pitch has paid off.
"I'm surprised! But hopefully I can receive more of these this season. I'm so happy and proud of myself."
The 24-year-old beat Newcastle's Harvey Barnes, Everton's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Manchester City's Jérémy Doku, Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White, Chelsea's Reece James and Arsenal's Declan Rice to the award.
