Brentford have been drawn to face Reading away in round three of the Carabao Cup.

The Bees defeated Championship side Birmingham City 6-1 to progress to this stage of the competition.

Reading beat Bromley in a penalty shoot-out in round one before winning 3-0 away at fellow League One outfit Stevenage in round two.

Round three ties will take place across the weeks commencing 7 and 14 September.
