To mark the start of the 2026/27 Premier League season last weekend, Brentford took part in the Premier League’s Coast to Coast in Atlanta, Georgia.

As part of Coast to Coast, local Bees fans came together for a day of football, community and celebration.

Hosted alongside our partner soccer school Swarm FC at Marathon Park, the event gave supporters the opportunity to experience the excitement of a Premier League matchday.

The day featured football activities for young supporters, fan experiences, and a big-screen watch party for Brentford’s 3-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Premier League’s nationwide Coast to Coast initiative saw all 20 top-flight clubs host fan events across 15 cities in the United States during the opening weekend of the season.

For Brentford, Atlanta provided the perfect setting and a further opportunity to highlight the club’s growing relationship with Swarm FC and the Atlanta Bees Supporters Club, the official fan group in the city.

Creating a memorable start to the season

Before kick-off, young players from Swarm FC took part in a tournament that showcased emerging talent from across the region. The partnership between Brentford and Swarm was established in 2024 to create development opportunities for players and coaches while sharing expertise and best practice in the game.

Since its launch, the partnership has strengthened connections between west London and Atlanta, providing opportunities for young players to learn from Brentford’s approach to player development while supporting the growth of football at grassroots level in the US.

Brentford club ambassador Karleigh Osborne joined Swarm players and supporters throughout the day, meeting fans, taking part in activities and helping create a memorable start to the new campaign. He co-hosted the watch party with local NBC broadcaster Reggie Chatman to create further excitement for the fixture at Gtech Community Stadium.

Osborne said: “It was fantastic to be part of the Premier League’s Coast to Coast campaign and to give fans across the US the opportunity to share in the excitement of the new season.

“We were delighted to be back in Atlanta, where we enjoy such strong support. Coast to Coast provided a great opportunity to bring our fan community together for the start of the 2026/27 campaign.

“It was great to see our partnership with Swarm FC continue to develop. Together, we continue to create valuable pathways for young players, and it was inspiring to see so much local talent on display throughout the tournament.

“We’re also fortunate to have fantastic support in the city from the Atlanta Bees who always bring passion to events and are growing in supporters every season.”
