Entering 2026 top of the London and South East Premier table, Carly Williams’ side will be eyeing an early three points to extend their time in first place.

Saltdean United sit three points behind in second but hold two games in hand over the Bees.

Barking sits a further point behind in third having played the same number of games as Brentford.

Fellow title challengers Dartford are seven points back in sixth, but have four games in hand on the west Londoners across the second half of the season.

Brentford ended 2025 with a commanding 6-0 victory over Millwall at Bedfont.

Ashley Cheatley played her best game of the season to date with a hat-trick, while Asees Sangha, Renai McCrea and Khyri McKenzie each netted once.

Previously against Barking, the Bees impressed en route to a 3-0 win away from home.

McKenzie scored in the contest, as did fellow joint top goalscorer Chelsie Berry and centre-back Regan Graver, who was rewarded with the LSE Premier player of the month award soon after.

Cloe O’Brien followed in Cheatley’s footsteps with a hat-trick, Marta Boabonay adding a brace and Ava Slade and Liberty Morrice-Bartlett each netting once.

After going down inside the opening 12 minutes, Karina Hlek equalised just before half-time.

Boabonay forced an own goal with a brilliant cross to hand the Bees the lead on the brink of the break, before Slade secured all three points with a goal late on in the second half.
