Brentford Women were in fine form as they beat Aylesford Women 8-2 at Honeycroft to make it three wins from three to start the London South East Premier Division campaign.

The Bees came from behind with an emphatic victory; Wiktoria Kiszkis bagged a hat-trick, with Ashley Cheatley, Maddie Phillips, Becca Teale and Ilana Harris-Walters all getting on the scoresheet.

It was a nightmare start for Brentford, who found themselves behind within 50 seconds. Williams' side failed to clear their lines on three occasions inside the box before the ball fell to Leigha Bradding-Butler, who fired through the bodies to put Aylesford 1-0 up.

The west Londoners found themselves behind for the first time this season, but showed excellent character to respond instantly. Maï Louvrier's lofted through ball was met by Kiszkis, who nodded the ball into her own path before firing a left-footed half volley in to level the score on six minutes.

Kiszkis almost had her second on 15 minutes when she again found space in between the Aylesford backline and keeper. She got to the ball first and poked her effort round Sade Rider but wide of the post.

Two minutes later, Brentford found the lead through an own goal; Phillips capitalised with a short corner as Aylesford slept and flashed a ball across the six-yard box. Cheatley got the last touch in a red and white shirt as the ball ricocheted around the goalmouth before crossing the line as the Bees went 2-1 up.

Teale fired just over from outside the box seconds after the restart and Cheatley's improvised flick went just wide as the west Londoners began to assert themselves on the game.

On 24 minutes, Millie Constantine drove down the left and put a superb cross in to the back post which Kiszkis just couldn't connect with on the stretch. Lucy Potter then lifted an inch-perfect pass into Cheatley, who mishit her half-volley and missed the target.

Williams' side were really applying the pressure and it paid off on 31 minutes when Abbi Smith turned in the box and was brought down. Phillips stood up and calmly tucked her penalty into the bottom-left corner to make it 3-1.

Potter had a strike from range well saved from Rider after a clever free-kick found her in space. The Aylesford keeper injured herself in making the save and outfielder Juliette Blyghton had to go between the sticks as the Bees went into the break with a two-goal advantage.

Mya Francis-Pownall was called into action a minute into the second half, intercepting at the feet of Bradding-Butler in the nick of time to protect the lead.

The Bees stepped it up a gear and Cheatley made it four for Brentford on 49 minutes after running onto a perfectly weighted, slotted pass from Kiszkis and tucking the ball home.

Two minutes later and Kiszkis doubled her tally for the day and added Brentford's fifth. Makeba Black's excellent diagonal ball was met by Teale who played the ball into the box for Kiszkis. The west Londoners' no.9 took her time, rode a challenge and then smashed home from close range to make it 5-1.

Williams' side went close again as Cheatley almost scored a spectacular left-footed volley, but sent it too high, and Teale arrived at the back post from a Smith corner but fired wide.

The floodgates had opened and Harris-Walters added a sixth shortly after coming off the bench, improvising a half-volleyed finish after controlling the ball with her chest to score her first of the season.

Then, on 68 minutes, Teale capped her brilliant performance off with a goal, opening her account for the 2026/27 campaign. After breaking into the box, she chopped past her defender and struck a fierce effort into the bottom corner as the Bees went 7-1 up.

Aylesford did pull one back with 20 minutes to play, when Rebecca Keyte headed home from a free-kick.

Kiszkis went desperately close to scoring her third, bending an effort that bounced inches past the post, before Freya Worsley fired a strike narrowly wide.

With just over five minutes left on the clock, Kiszkis did get her hat-trick, striding into the box and striking across the keeper with her left foot to make it 8-2.

It was an excellent display after going behind and in the end a comfortable victory with a rotated squad. Williams' side have started the season with a bang, winning their opening three league games as they now prepare for a tough away day at Hammersmith FC.

Williams: We learn and develop as a squad

Brentford Women head coach Carly Williams was pleased with how her side reacted to a slow start in their big victory over Aylesford.

"There's no denying we had six players missing and the ones that came in and started who maybe haven't the last few weeks did really well," she said.

"We learn and we develop as a squad. That's the reason we've gone away over the summer and built a really good squad.

"Everyone stepped up, that's what we look at, can we push ourselves to be better every day."
