Brentford Under-21s look to climb to the top of the Professional Development League table as they host Fleetwood Town Under-21s at Gtech Community Stadium on Tuesday 31 March (7pm kick-off BST).

The young Bees have won six games on the bounce in all competitions and currently sit one point behind table leaders Sheffield United.

Sam Saunders' side boast a 100 per cent record at the Gtech so far this season, winning in all three of their appearances in TW8, having scored 11 times.

If you're missing watching Brentford during the international break, get down to the Gtech to back the young Bees in the run-in as they look to seal the top spot in the PDL.

Last time out

The west Londoners travelled to France last week to take on AS Monaco in a friendly after a day's training at the AS Monaco Performance Centre.

The Bees came from behind to win 2-1 after Paul Pogba opened the scoring; captain Josh Stephenson scored a remarkable individual goal, before Theo Mawene rounded off a flowing team move to mark an excellent victory against a side that also featured Ansu Fati and Eric Dier.

Last time out in the PDL, Brentford beat Sheffield Wednesday U21s 2-1 after brilliant efforts from Ethan Laidlaw and Riley Owen secured three points.

About Fleetwood Town

Fleetwood Town U21s currently sit in 17th place out of 20 teams in the PDL table, having won five, drawn eight and lost 11 of their 24 games.

Managed by interim head coach Phil Parkinson, who took over in February 2026, they have seen an upturn in form, most recently beating Millwall U21s 3-2 at home.

Despite a narrow loss to Cardiff, the Cod Army have picked up seven points from their last four games.
