Brentford B forward Iwan Morgan has completed a loan move to Sky Bet League Two side Shrewsbury Town until the end of the 2025/26 campaign, subject to EFL, FA and Premier League approval.

After establishing himself as a consistent goalscorer for the B team since arriving in the summer of 2023 from Swansea, the 19-year-old will now embark on his first professional loan move.

In the 2024/25 season, Morgan scored 25 goals in all competitions and made 42 appearances.

So far in the 2025/26 season, Morgan has remained a reliable goalscorer, scoring in a 4-0 win against Queens Park Rangers at Gtech Community Stadium and helping the west Londoners to progress to the knockout stages of this year's PL Cup with an important brace against West Bromwich Albion.

Speaking about the loan move, Brentford B head coach Sam Saunders said: “Iwan has been a fantastic player to coach and he has consistently shown his quality in front of goal as well as his all-round contribution to the team outside of just the goals.

“This loan represents a fantastic opportunity for Iwan to showcase what he is about. Your first loan can be testing at times, but we are confident in his mindset, professionalism and ability to handle any challenges that come his way. We wish Iwan the very best of luck for this next step in his development”

Morgan becomes the latest B-team player to go out on loan this season, following Ethan Brierley, Benjamin Fredrick, Tony Yogane and Ben Krauhaus.
